We select certified organic ingredients wherever possible, including many of our botanical oils and butters.

However, our finished products are not USDA Certified Organic. We distinguish between the certification of individual ingredients and the certification of a finished formulation.

Our formulas feature carefully selected plant-derived ingredients, including botanical butters, nourishing oils, squalane, botanical extracts, and essential oils.

No. We do not use synthetic fragrance oils in our formulations. Our scented products feature essential oils and botanical aromatic extracts.

Because naturally derived aromatic ingredients can still cause sensitivity, we recommend reviewing each product's ingredient list before use.

Yes. Our BARE Body Butter is designed for those who prefer body care without added fragrance.

Unscented products may still have a subtle natural aroma from their botanical ingredients.

We do not conduct animal testing on our finished products and prioritize plant-derived ingredients.

Not every formula is necessarily vegan. Some products may contain ingredients such as beeswax. Please review the individual ingredient list if you follow a strictly vegan lifestyle.

Preservation depends on the formulation. Our water-free body butters and oils differ from products that contain water.

Water-free formulas generally do not require the same antimicrobial preservation systems as water-containing products when properly formulated and used. Antioxidants can help slow oil oxidation, but they are not substitutes for antimicrobial preservatives.

We formulate with ingredient quality and skin comfort in mind, but every person's skin is different.

Natural ingredients and essential oils can still cause irritation or allergic reactions. We recommend checking the full ingredient list and patch-testing a new product before broader use.

For jarred body butters, use clean, dry hands or a spatula to minimize the introduction of moisture.

Botanical butters are naturally temperature-sensitive. During warm weather or shipping, your butter may soften or melt.

Place the closed container in a cool area to allow it to firm again. The texture may change after melting and resolidifying, even if the product remains otherwise usable.

Our body butters are designed primarily for body application. Facial skin may respond differently, particularly if you are prone to clogged pores or fragrance sensitivity.
